NRMA Halls Gap Holiday Park announces special offer for members during Glow Festival
NRMA Halls Gap Holiday Park situated in the magnificent Grampians region has announced a special members’ offer to coincide with the new Glow Festival - a continuous series of events created by volunteers in the local community in Halls Gap and surrounds.
While the bushfires of 2024/25 were still not yet out, a group of locals, representing all parts of the community, formed a committee calling themselves ‘The Kitchen Cabinet’ and today these volunteers are still working together to help the community recover. To revitalise the region during the traditionally quiet winter months, Halls Gap Kitchen Cabinet is producing ‘GLOW – Bringing Light To Halls Gap’ - a winter festival running until 31st August that celebrates community, culture, art, wellbeing, gastronomy, and adventure. The festival aims to attract visitors and encourage them to stay and explore the stunning landscape of Gariwerd, injecting much-needed energy and economic support into the area.
The GLOW festival will feature more than 170 events during the winter months designed to transform the town with light installations, music, and public art, creating an inviting atmosphere for locals and tourists alike. The main street and central park will be lit up, forming the heart of the event, while individuals, businesses and community groups will be invited to host a diverse range of gatherings and activities that fill the festival calendar.
To coincide with the Glow Festival, the NRMA Halls Gap Holiday Park is offering two nights free for NRMA members when staying four nights, making for a wonderful week away in nature.
The NRMA offer is available for sale from now until 4th August, 2025, for stays until 18th September, 2025. Non-MRMA members can enjoy one free night when booking a four-night stay or sign up to the rewards program when booking to unlock the extra night on the spot.
The team at Halls Gap Holiday Park are also hosting communal fire gatherings on Friday and Saturday nights to bring together guests to connect and share stories over some warm toasted marshmallows. The team has also put on Saturday night discos which are a hit for the kids and families.
For wellness and fitness buffs, or those seeking to relax and warm up, a new sauna is now available at the holiday park.
NRMA Parks and Resorts Chief Executive Paul Davies said the local community including the team at Halls Gap Holiday Park were banding together to bring visitors back to the spectacular Grampians region this winter.
Davies noted “It’s great to see so much happening in the Grampians this season with the Glow Festival and all the usual great nature-based adventures in the region, from hiking and mountain biking to rock-climbing and relaxing by the campfire.
“We’re pleased to be able to offer an extra incentive for visitors to come and spend some time at Halls Gap and in the Grampians, and our team at the holiday park can’t wait to create some incredible memories for guests.”
