Valour Sport named Netball Queensland and Firebird’s official sportwear partner

Sydney-based sportswear brand Valour Sport has been named as the official apparel supplier and merchandise partner for Netball Queensland and the official apparel partner for the Queensland Firebirds.

The multi-year deal with the state governing body will see Valour Sport produce the apparel and merchandise for Netball Queensland’s internal and external customers, as well as the inclusion of their fourth Suncorp Super Netball team in the Queensland Firebirds.

In addition, all of Netball Queensland pathway teams, associations and clubs will have access to the same sportswear as worn by the Queensland Firebirds.

Netball Queensland General Manager - Commercial, Marketing and Events, Nathan Spooner said the two organisations align perfectly, commenting “Valour, like Netball Queensland is innovative and always looking for ways to continue leading its industry, so we are thrilled to partner with them.

“As always, we conducted a thorough process to find our newest apparel partner and Valour impressed us in every aspect.

“Right across Queensland from grassroots to the elite level we have so many athletes and officials involved in our great game and now they can be wearing first-class sportswear on and off the court.”

Australian-owned Valour Sport has become an industry leader within the professional and community sporting landscape through their development of cutting-edge designs and use of performance fabrics.

Already partnering with some of Australia’s elite sporting teams, Valour Director Matthew Knight said the company was thrilled to be teaming up with the Firebirds, noting “the Queensland Firebirds are a highly respected and successful team, and we are rapt to become their Official Apparel Partner

“Valour Sport is proud to be leading the way in performance apparel, ensuring our athletes feel their best when they are performing at their peak.

“We are looking forward to bringing the Queensland Firebirds under our professional portfolio, and can’t wait to have them decked out in our elite fabrics.”

The Firebirds will officially unveil their 2022 dress in the coming weeks.

The Firebirds are also set to take Suncorp Super Netball to Mackay for the first time playing a pre-season double-header against the Collingwood Magpies on Thursday 10th and Friday 11th February.
