HART Sport secures Naming Rights for Netball Queensland's Inaugural Sapphire Series
Netball Queensland has unveiled industry equipment supplier HART Sport as the inaugural naming rights partner of its Sapphire Series.
Set to commence its inaugural season in 2019, the recently launched Sapphire Series will be Queensland’s premium netball competition taking its name from the state’s official gemstone, the Sapphire. It will feature Queensland’s best netball talent will go head to head in a competition designed to mint a new generation of elite players.
Naming rights partner HART Sport are a Brisbane-based company that supplies ethically-sourced sport and recreation equipment to over 50,000 customers in schools, clubs, government departments and fitness centres in 15 countries world-wide.
Announcing the four-year deal with HART Sport, Netball Queensland Chief Executive, Catherine Clark stated “we are passionate Queenslanders so to form a ground-breaking new partnership with another strong Queensland brand in HART Sport is just ideal. From their vision to helping people stay active through to their passion and knowledge about the needs of high performance training environments, this is a fantastic partnership on so many levels.
“We have a huge sense of family here at Netball Queensland; we are all dedicated to transforming lives through Netball. HART Sport, as a Brisbane-based family business, shares our passion of developing and nurturing local talent.
“The partnership is also perfect because HART are equipped to support the massive scale that netball brings across Queensland’s diverse communities. We have around 378 Clubs and Associations across the State. Greg and the team at HART Sport are committed to supporting the development pathways for our young players, coaches and officials – anywhere and everywhere.”
As a result of the Sapphire Series naming rights deal, HART will also become a major partner of Netball Queensland.
Founder and owner of HART Sport, Greg Harten said the organisation is proud to support the growth of grass roots netball and the development of Queensland’s elite netball pathway.
Harten added “this is a terrific initiative by Netball Queensland. No doubt the HART Sapphire Series will become an important feature in the sporting landscape in Queensland. We are thrilled to support the series and netball throughout the state.
The investment from HART is a keystone partnership for the new league which has aims to assemble an impressive roster of partners as the competition matures over the next five years.
