Snap Fitness expands Brisbane Lions partnership
Brisbane Lions Australian Football Club have recently secured a range of high-profile partners including new sponsor, leading fitness franchise Snap Fitness, and long-time sponsor Hyundai.
Snap Fitness APAC Chief Executive Ty Menzies advised he was proud to have been announced as the Brisbane Lions first ever membership sponsor across both the men’s and women’s leagues.
As part of the Snap Fitness sponsorship, all Brisbane Lions players have received free access to Snap Fitness clubs across the country.
The Brisbane Lions celebrated a successful 2019 season appearing in their first AFL Finals Series in a decade and recording their first profitable year since 2007.
Menzies noted “The Brisbane Lions are truly on a roll, having had a fantastic 2019 season and great prospects for a cracking 2020 season ahead.
“Last year Lions membership hit a 14-year high of almost 30,000 members, so in true Snap Fitness style we’re committed to helping the club beat it’s PB and smash through the 30,000 mark in 2020.
As the Brisbane Lions head into pre-season training ahead of their first match of the 2020 season come March, Snap Fitness has revealed some of the partnership benefits for club members across Australia, including the chance to win a brand-new Hyundai Venue.
Menzies added “one of the first exciting benefits we’re able to bring Snap Fitness members through our partnership with the Lions comes through an added partnership with long-time sponsor Hyundai.
“Throughout the first quarter of 2020 Snap Fitness club members will have the chance to win a brand-new Hyundai Venue – hopefully our winner will be celebrating both the win of a car and the first Lions win of the season!”
New members who join Snap Fitness in January, February or March will go into the draw to win the new car, as will any existing members who refer a friend who joins.
The gym will also be offering match tickets, Lions experiences and other exclusive Lions opportunities throughout the year.
Hyundai Regional General Manager Martin Him said the alignment was a good example of like-minded businesses working together with a community-first approach.
“Our partnership with the Brisbane Lions and Snap Fitness for 2020 demonstrates the power of sport in bringing communities together for mutual success.
“When like-minded people work together, the community benefits, and that’s why this partnership continues to be a success for Hyundai.
