Snap Fitness backs Mental Health Awareness Week
Snap Fitness clubs are holding an open week aligned with Mental Health Awareness Week, which will see the group’s gyms open their doors for the public to train for free.
Being held this year from Sunday 6th to Saturday 12th October, Mental Health Awareness Week is an annual, national event that aims to improve community awareness and interest in mental health and well-being.
Advocates for the positive benefits physical activity has on mental health, Snap Fitness club owners are also fundraising for Mental Awareness Foundation throughout this month.
Snap Fitness encourages people with any experience and fitness level to visit their local club, meet their local trainer, and find out more about the benefits of exercise for themselves.
Explaining that the brand is passionate in supporting Mental Health Awareness Week, Snap Fitness Partnerships Manager, Stefanie Nicholson stated “with 10 years of history training Aussies we're well aware of what a positive impact regular exercise has on our members, and we want to bring that feeling to as many people in our local communities as possible while starting a conversation about mental health.”
