REPs guide proves popular
The New Zealand Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) new guide to working an as exercise professionals has proven extremely popular with students and existing exercise professionals, with many exercise facilities now providing copies to those enquiring about work in the industry.
REPs Registrar Stephen Gacsal says "in addition to giving detailed information on how and where to get training and qualified the guide covers a number of essential elements of understanding the industry from various employment options, pay rates, right through to marketing and tax matters for those thinking about operating their own business in the industry.
"This guide is the 'one stop shop' for getting an overview of what working as an exercise professional is like."
The guide is available from the REPs website and is also distributed through leading tertiary education providers and exercise facilities that are registered with REPs.
