The 'Impact of Disruption', the theme for Eventing the Future 2018 National Conference
Set to examine the ‘Impact of Disruption’ as its theme, the organisers of the Eventing the Future (ETF) 2018 National Conference are looking at how to change the more traditional conference format to have greater engagement and participation of delegates.
Being held in Christchurch on 6th and 7th August, organisers the organisers explain “we will be going all out to make ETF 2018 the best conference yet by making much more of the conference interactive and participant driven, and by bringing guest presenters and keynotes closer to you in sessions where you get to participate, share and construct ideas.”
A theme of this year will be the impacts of disruption on a number of aspects of events, looking at challenges and opportunities.
The organisers add “we will engage ‘experts’ in a dialogue to help answer those many questions that all event professionals have about the disruptive technologies coming our way and about how best to shape our events, messages and approaches to meet the needs of a changing customer base.”
Partners at ETF 2018 include Canterbury Christchurch Tourism, Sport NZ and Audience Alive.
