Queensland State Equestrian Centre opens search for venue manager

Moreton Bay Regional Council has commenced a nationwide hunt for an experienced Venue Manager to take the reins of the Queensland State Equestrian Centre (QSEC).

Located at Beerburrum Road in Caboolture, QSEC is a 30-hectare equestrian and major events precinct operated by Moreton Bay Regional Council.

At the heart of facility is a covered 3,000 seat main arena, adjoining second arena and 154 permanent stables.

Combined with expansive grounds and camping areas, QSEC offers significant opportunities for a wide variety major events and activations for up to 10,000 attendees.

Commenting on the opening of the recruitment process, Council spokesperson advised “this is a unique opportunity for a passionate and talented Venue and Events specialist who is ambitious about taking ownership of our unique venue to deliver and design our future vision.

“We are seeking someone who understands what it takes to successfully deliver day-to-day programming of a major venue in addition to delivering major regional, national or international events.”

Applications close on 7th June 2021.
