Stadia keen to recruit new staff

With sectors of the industry recovering and operators in some areas experiencing challenges in recruiting staff, major venues including Sydney’s Stadium Australia, McDonald Jones Stadium in Newcastle and Geelong’s GMHBA Stadium are keen to attract team members.

VenuesLive is currently seeking hospitality professionals to work at Sydney’s Stadium Australia and Bankwest Stadium, McDonald Jones Stadium in Newcastle; the WIN Sports & Entertainment Centres in Wollongong, Sydney Motorsport Park and at Perth’s Optus Stadium.

Helping deliver some of Australia's biggest events, roles include food attendants, bar attendants, baristas and fine dining and function attendants.

At Geelong’s GMHBA Stadium, the Kardinia Park Trust is seeking casual Event Team Leaders.

On its website, the Kardinia Park Trust advise “the primary role of Team Leader is to provide direction and leadership to all event staff located within a stand or at a gate, to ensure all customers are provided with an exceptional customer experience and arrive at their seat in a safe and timely manner.”
