Precor launches new online resources for operators
Leading fitness equipment manufacturer Precor has released a set of resources for gym operators, designed to keep members engaged throughout the lockdown periods caused by the Coronavirus pandemic.
The online home workouts, which can be offered at no charge to members, include a series of 'Master Trainer' at-home workout videos and online advice web pages, as well as an online wellness guide, which operators can share with both their trainers and members.
The resources are designed to keep members active while quarantined at home, as well as provide advice on how trainers can optimise their clients' training programmes while gyms and fitness clubs remain shut.
In addition, the company is offering its online home workouts to existing customers free-of-charge, for them to share with their members.
Commenting on the resource, Precor spokesperson Steve Carter advised “our content library offers free resources to help members maintain their health and wellness routines, including at-home workouts, fitness tips and mindset and nutrition advice.
"As well as information for personal trainers, there is a simple guide to engaging with members via social media and advice on products and guidance for deep cleaning health and fitness facilities.
"We know members' health and safety is the number one priority. We want to ensure that operators and personal trainers can maintain a top-class customer experience during these challenging times. The workouts and useful resources will keep members on track and ready to step straight back into the gym when it re-opens."
