NovoFit advises of its Coronavirus response
Leading fitness equipment supplier NovoFit has advised of its actions in relation to the Coronavirus
In a communication to stakeholders, NovoFit Chief Executive, Tim Horskins (pictured) advises "we have been, and continue to, closely monitor the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and its recent escalation.
"In the interest of maintaining clear and consistent communication within and outside of our organisation, we have established an Executive Committee who meet three times daily to drive an action plan to ensure that we are proactive during these times of uncertainty. This is a standard business continuity process and we will continue to do so until such time that the situation de-escalates.
"Given the challenging commercial environment we are now facing, we have an obligation to ensure that our business is quickly reconfigured so that it is able to manage itself to ride the tide during the pandemic and is able to emerge, as unscathed as it can, at the other end.
"I want to reiterate our commitment to our staff, clients and their families’ health and wellbeing and our commitment to you, our customers and your services to your members and communities.
"Our focus is, and has always been, to maintain the expected level of service to you, our customers.
"Our business is currently maintaining operations while the national restriction on gyms is in place. If your restrictions allow, we will make ourselves available to conduct servicing and deliveries as required. We are also selling stock directly to consumers for home use, clearance pricing is available on our website. Alternatively, you can visit our warehouses located in Dandenong South (Victoria) and Smeaton Grange (NSW) on appointment.
"The pandemic and current circumstances will eventually come to an end and we look forward to our partnerships returning to levels pre-COVID-19."
