Precor Australia Business Manager to take on new international fitness role

Following five years of success in the Australasian commercial fitness market, Precor has announced that Peter Dugmore, Business Manager for Precor Australia and New Zealand, will undertake in a new role within the global business based out of the United States.

Dugmore has worked within the Precor Australia business for seven years, progressing from Key Account Manager to Regional Sales Manager, and more recently the Business Manager which he has done over the past 2.5 years.

Dugmore (pictured) is excited at the prospect of relocating to the United States as of early 2017, with the vacant role of Precor Australia and New Zealand Business Manager currently in the process of recruitment.

Commenting on Dugmore’s performance, Amer Sports Australia Country Manager Andrew Snowball stated “Peter has been an instrumental part of the Precor Australia team since the business transitioned from a distributor to a direct operation.

“He has been responsible for some outstanding work in establishing and nurturing our key customer relationships and driving growth.”

Commenting on his achievements, Dugmore commented “I would like to thank the Australian fitness and health industry, in particular our customers for their support providing the Precor Australia business the opportunity to exceed growth expectations year on year.

“I’m proud of our achievements and I can confidently say that the business will continue to succeed as it’s now positioned as a leader and well-respected name that is known and loved by operators and exercisers alike.

“It’s a true testament to the expansion and diversification of the business to now be at the forefront and partner with large fitness operator brands such as Anytime Fitness, Fitness First, YMCA, Fernwood, World Gym and many local councils and hotels Australia-wide.”

Dugmore said he is excited about the challenges that lie ahead, adding “I’m thrilled to be taking on a new role, and look forward to be working with the Precor global teams.
