NZ Fitness & Health Expo prepares for 10,000 visitors
Returning to Auckland’s ASB Showgrounds for two days of all things to do with living an inspired, healthy lifestyle, the NZ Fitness & Health Expo is preparing for what is expected to be the country’s biggest ever health and lifestyle exhibition.
Being held on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th October, the Expo is expected to attract over 10,000 visitors; 120 exhibitors on site with the latest fitness equipment and trends on show; fierce competitions, and championship titles to win, free and informative health and fitness seminars to attend, as well as their newest addition, the Nutrition Kitchen to see.
NZ Fitness & Health Expo Marketing Manager Jenny Murfitt explains “each year we conduct extensive research on what our show visitors want to see more of.
“From last year’s feedback; we felt there was a real desire from people to learn more about nutritional products and how they can incorporate these into their daily lives within their own kitchen.”
The Nutrition Kitchen will feature appearances from YouTube fitness star Ashy Bines preparing some of her favourite dishes, as well as Official Nutrition Coach of the NZ Fitness & Health Expo 2017 - Simone Olivia presenting live, healthy cooking demonstrations alongside meal preparation.
Further key announcements for the 2017 NZ Fitness and Heath Expo include:
• Ashy Bines hosting one of her SQUAD Workout sessions on Sunday 29th October.
• Official Personal Trainer of the NZ Fitness & Health Expo, Jade MacKinnon hosting the NZ Fitness Model Search, traditionally one of the most popular events on the Expo timetable.
• For the first time, the NZ Fitness & Health Expo has teamed up with Jade and Simone to form the 12-week Transformation Challenge. Catering for specific goals and body types, there are different program options to choose from including Fat Loss, Lean Muscle Gain, and an ‘At Home’ option for busy mums or those without access to a gym.
• Free seminars from international guest speakers including world renown motivation speaker and fitness mentor Kelly Rennie of ‘The Fit Mummy Manual’ who’ll be hosting positive, empowering seminars for busy mums throughout the Expo weekend.
• For spectators, the Live Action aspects don’t get any better than 2017’s line-up including the F45 Training HIIT Classes, Kettlebell Workouts, NZ Powerlifting Championships, NZ Strongman Championship, and classic NZ Arm Battle.
• Creators of the original sweatshirt and Official Apparel Sponsor of the NZ Fitness & Health Expo in 2017, Russell Athletic will be showcasing some of their latest range
• And for industry associates, the NZ Fitness & Health Expo’s popular Industry Preview takes place on Saturday 28th October between 9am and 10am, with entry free for fitness and health Industry professionals who pre-register online.
Launched in 2012, the NZ Fitness & Health Expo has attracted a strong community of followers, from thousands of attendees, health and fitness business owners, wellness professionals, nutritional providers, and fitness experts as well as key motivational speakers and personal trainers to quickly become one of the largest fitness and health events in the Southern Hemisphere.
Murfitt adds “we see the NZ Fitness & Health Expo as the best place to inspire fitness fanatics or just to motivate those right at the beginning of their fitness journey.”
