Industry leading speakers to address 2016 FITEX Convention

Returning to AUT University’s Akoranga Campus in November, the 2016 FITEX Convention has assembled a program of industry leading speakers who will share their knowledge of every facet and role within the fitness industry.

From 25th to 27th November, the Exercise Association of New Zealand (ExerciseNZ) will again be presenting an event program covering the latest in science and business for everyone from facility owners, though to exercise professionals (Personal Trainers, Group exercise Instructors).

Friday events will include a full day business summits for club owners and managers, plus other full and part day events.

As the key conference for the fitness and exercise industry in New Zealand, in 2015 FitEx attracted record numbers – with over 700 club owners/managers, personal trainers, group exercise instructors, and other industry professionals attending.

FitEx also runs alongside the New Zealand Exercise Industry Awards, which will be presented during the conference on the evening of Saturday 26th November.

Formerly known as the New Zealand Fitness Industry Awards, the Exercise Industry Awards have been running since 2005, and are designed to recognise those making a contribution to the health and wellness of New Zealanders through exercise and fitness.

The awards ceremony itself is an annual event, and has had prestigious guest speakers including Primer Minister, Ministers Rodney Hide and Murray McCully, Sue Kedgeley and Auckland Mayor Len Brown.
