Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre unveils new ‘Fit for Gym’ Membership

The Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre (MARC) has announced a new membership initiative designed to encourage local residents to join the facility.

The Centre’s new Fit for Gym membership offers a combined deal giving access to the gym, group fitness classes and lockers along with access to MARC’s Smart Start Plans to help members’ health, and a nutrition guide and meal plan created by its in-house nutritionist.

Membership also includes a free seven-day gym pass for a partner and a free seven-day family swim pass for children, which includes three creche passes.

The MARC gym is fully equipped with Technogym equipment and an outdoor fitness area has Outrace equipment.

A MARC spokesperson advised that the membership deal will help members “get motivated with group fitness classes, covering everything from Body Pump and RPM to tai chi, Pilates and specialised yoga sessions.”

The spokesperson added “there are no joining fees or lock in contracts and you can sign up online.”
