Is sport becoming a 'snack on the run'?
Parks and Leisure Queensland (PLAQ) has partnered with Ipswich City Council to deliver a conference with the topic 'Pay, Play, Away: is sport becoming a snack on the run, rather than a sit down dinner?'
To be held on Wednesday 5th September at the Brothers Ipswich Leagues Club, Raceview, the event will explore the evolving 'fast food' nature of sport participation and the implications and opportunities for stakeholders in the public, private and not-for-profit sport sectors.
Delivered by professionals with diverse interests and knowledge within the sport industry, the event is open PLA members as well as non members.
PLA is the industry peak body for parks, sport and recreation professionals in Australia. Its Queensland region has been working hard to respond to industry needs for discussion and direction in several key areas.
Attendance at the event costs $45 for members or $55 for non members.
