Industry leaders to help develop new Business of Fitness event
Leading industry suppliers have been revealed as members of the exhibitor advisory board for the new Business of Fitness 'B2B' trade show.
Highlighting the important role the new advisory board will provide in ensuring the event meets the high expectations of commercial stakeholders, Business of Fitness co-founder and Event Director, Shaun Krenz stated "the advisory board plays a critical role in helping us shape the development and strategic direction of the event for our partners. Identifying audience verticals, ascertaining the right product mix and providing feedback on how we can better meet the needs of the industry from a business-to-business event perspective are some of the themes we will explore with the board.”
The new independent and stand-alone B2B trade show is being curated to meet the needs of owners and operators of fitness facilities of all types across all verticals, aiming to deliver a comprehensive offering – from business education to one-on-one meetings to sourcing the latest equipment, technology and products for new and renovated facilities, as well as solutions to help operators grow their business.
Krenz noted "the enthusiasm for a business-led event has resonated well with industry leaders, and the level of insight shared with us already has been invaluable.” Mr Krenz said. The make-up of the board will continue to grow and evolve with an invitation for other stakeholders to become involved, as well as an operator’s advisory board to follow.
“The ideas and feedback from the group have already contributed significantly to our plans but as we move forward, I’m keen to hear from anyone else who would like the opportunity to be part of this important movement.”
The inaugural board members are:
• Michael Conlan, Managing Director, Johnson Health Tech/Matrix
• Tony De Leede, renowned Wellness and Fitness Entrepreneur, Wellness Solutions
• Ryan Hogan, Chief Executive, Les Mills
• Izhar Basha, founder and Chief Executive, EHP Labs
• Ed Zouroudis, co-founder and Chief Executive, Evolt
• Danny Pavlovich, founder and Chief Executive, Nutrition Systems
• Chris Skinner, Managing Director, HF Industries
• Brendan Davis, General Manager, Synergy Fitness
• Bass Halabi, Managing Director, Rogue Australia
• Adam Lewit, Director, NovoFit
• Daine McDonald, founder and Managing Director, Clean Health Fitness Institute
• Troy McBean, Managing Director, Leisure Concepts
• Sean Greeley, founder and Chief Executive, NPE Fitness
Advising that he is delighted to be involved with the board and contribute to the success of the inaugural event, Conlan stated “I was excited to see the announcement surrounding the launch of Business of Fitness. Within our industry there is a need and desire for a fresh new approach to a B2B event, one that engages participation from not just the traditional gym market but also associated vertical markets.”
Wellness Solutions' De Leede added "health and wellness are essential vehicles to progress forward in these tumultuous times.
"The fitness industry understands this but what really excites me is the intent to provide a platform that connects with decision-makers across verticals you wouldn’t normally see at a traditional fitness show. The opportunity to meet professionals across a variety of industry sectors and to inform them on how to transform their place into a wellness space is quite a powerful offering I believe.”
Additional information about the event including date and venue will be announced shortly.
