Former Top Gear presenters Clarkson, Hammond and May in Australia for live shows

Former BBC Top Gear presenters Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May have arrived in Australia to present a series of rebranded live shows for car and motor sport enthusiasts.

The trio had been due to present a series of Top Gear events in Australia earlier this year but in the wake of Clarkson’s sacking from the BBC for the assault of member of Top Gear team, those events were cancelled.

With the Top Gear brand and the BBC no longer involved, the three presenters are now delivering their 90 minute live arena show as Clarkson, Hammond and May Live.

Being held at the Perth Arena on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th July and at Sydney’s Allphones Arena on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th July, the arena shows will present a mix of cars, stunts, competitions and irreverent humour that you know and love from the trio.

Show Creative Director Rowland French explains “the three presenters have been working incredibly hard to make sure it’s better than ever before, and I’m certainly looking forward to seeing them back doing what they do best.”

Their arrival in Australia comes after it has been announced they will be making a new car show, most likely with US streaming service Netflix. However, their BBC contracts are believed to prevent the presenters from working on a rival television production for several years.
