Perth Stadium Management to host Monster Jam at Domain Stadium

The fast-paced 2015 Monster Jam® World Tour is coming to Perth’s Domain Stadium for the first time on its Australian circuit, with Perth Stadium Management set to host the event on Saturday 24th October 2015.

Perth Stadium Management, which negotiated the contract for Monster Jam to come to Perth, is committed to delivering a great Monster Jam experience to Perth fans.

The 3.5 metre tall, five tonne machines will bring people to their feet as they race and rip up the custom designed track full of obstacles. Built for short, high-powered bursts of speed, monster trucks generate up to 2,000 horsepower and are capable of speeds of up to 160 kilometres per hour.

In addition, Monster Jam Party in the Pits will run from 10am to 1pm on 24th October in the city’s Kitchener Park, providing the opportunity for fans to get up close with the Monster Jam Trucks and the stars of the show. Patrons must have a pit pass and ticket to enter.

Announcing the hosting, Perth Stadium Management General Manager Gavin Taylor stated “Monster Jam will take Domain Stadium to new heights, literally, as we showcase all the speed, manoeuvrability and action of the monster trucks.

“Having one of the largest and most popular international events here showcases the multi-purpose nature of Domain Stadium.

“Our staff will transform the grounds from a football stadium to a space that can house the monster trucks and their custom designed tracks, ensuring a memorable experience for everyone that attends.

“An event of this size takes an incredible commitment to pull together, so we’ll call on our 1,000 full-time and casual staff to ensure we create a memorable experience for everyone that attends the event at Domain Stadium.”

Perth Stadium Management is a strategic alliance between the West Australian Football Commission (WAFC), Delaware North, Live Nation and Ticketmaster.

Perth Stadium Management has been managing the 43,500 capacity Domain Stadium since March 2015 and has already introduced new retail, corporate hospitality menus and food outlets, as well as securing major events for 2015 including Monster Jam, AC/DC and Fleetwood Mac.
