New Ultimate Soccer football centre opens in Western Sydney
The opening of a new multi-court football centre at Fairfield High School today (14th July) marks the entry of another football facility operator, Ultimate Soccer, in Australia.
With plans to expand, the purpose-built $4 million facility currently features eight five-a-side courts on a high profile site within the grounds of Fairfield High School and adjacent to the centre of the suburb of Fairfield.
Ultimate Soccer Chief Executive Emir Mani has been developing his football centre concept over the last four years and to source the highly suitable site, entered into an innovative public-partnership with the NSW Department of Education and Communities and the Fairfield High School.
As a result, Mani explains “Ultimate Soccer is providing customers of all ages a state-of-the-art experience with the facilities available to Fairfield High School pupils during school hours for free and then to the wider community all other times.
“Purpose-built five-a-side soccer facilities are very popular in the UK with over 200 facilities.
“We have studied the best - and worst - facilities from all over the world and applied the finest features to our first flagship facility.
“We are 100% committed to our mission, which is to deliver the best soccer experience in Australia (with) a premium product accessible to men, women and children, and delivered with exceptional customer service.
“We want to wow customers by making them feel like a million dollars from the moment they walk through our doors.”
Ultimate Soccer’s state-of-the-art pitches are built with the latest all-weather artificial turf technology that means they can be played on all year round, rain or shine.
In addition, the small ‘caged’ nature of each court’s fencing system promotes more touches, dribbles and goals which all add to making the game a more enjoyable experience.
Floodlighting, shorter game times and small team numbers make it more accessible and convenient for busy people that do not have the time to exercise due to work and family commitments.
With Fairfield’s mixed demographic profile and diverse spread of cultural and ethnic backgrounds, Ultimate Soccer is accessible to all irrespective of age, gender, race and socio-economic background, providing a safe environment that promotes health and fitness, skill development, discipline and respect.
Backed by Rebel Sport and endorsed by Football Federation Australia Grassroots Ambassador and ex-Socceroos player, Brett Emerton, Ulitmate Soccer in Fairfield ultimately offer 15 advanced pitches when its second stage expansion is completed by the end of 2016 – making it the largest five-a-side football centre in the Southern Hemisphere
Commenting on the facility, Emerton states “I have visited the Ultimate Soccer facility in Fairfield and I’m very excited and impressed by the purpose-built five-a-side soccer facility.
“The concept in the UK is massive and I expect the same to happen here in Australia.”
Ultimate Soccer has partnered with a team of investors to initially raise over $4 million for the development and construction of what is its flagship first facility. Subsequently, Ultimate Soccer plans to launch 10 further sites in Australia over the next 10 years.
Welcoming the opening of Ultimate Soccer, NSW Minister for Sport, Stuart Ayres, says that quality grassroots facilities are crucial to increase regular and ongoing participation opportunities, stating “this facility is an excellent example of collaboration between sport and the NSW Government.”
Ultimate Soccer is open seven days a week from 9am to 10pm (Saturday 10pm and Sunday 9pm).
Pitch bookings are available for league and tournament competitions, casual pitch bookings, coaching courses, childrens’ parties and corporate events.
