ICC Sydney secures award for top convention and exhibition venue

International Convention Centre Sydney, managed by ASM Global, has secured the award for ‘Best Convention & Exhibition Centre’ at the 31st Annual TTG Travel Awards 2022 held last night in Bangkok, Thailand.

The prestigious travel industry event recognised the exemplary properties and suppliers in the Asia Pacific region that raise the bar of excellence across all aspects of travel, meetings and event management as voted by the readers of TTG Asia, TTG China, TTG India, TTG mice, TTG-BT mice China, TTG associations and TTG Asia Luxury this year.

Situated in Sydney’s Darling Harbour precinct, ICC Sydney was recognised as a driving force in the Asia Pacific events industry, consistently providing world class visitor experiences.

ICC Sydney Chief Executive and Group Director - Convention Centres ASM Global (APAC), Geoff Donaghy said the venue’s achievements were a testament to its innovative approach and exceptionally talented in-house team.

ICC Sydney has continued to enhance its in house audio visual, event planning, sustainability and culinary services. The venue’s new services include Connect Hub – its one stop destination for speaker preparation and digital event solutions, Connect Outdoors – its styled, open air networking service, and expanded industry leading Legacy Program enrich client and delegate experiences. Last year, ICC Sydney’s clients and delegates both awarded the venue near perfect scores ranking their satisfaction as 99%.

The venue has worked to make a difference in its community as it released its second Reconciliation Action Plan and built on its ‘employer of choice’ position through an active diversity and inclusion program across its workforce.
