Darwin Entertainment Centre takes on AANT branding
Darwin Entertainment Centre has been renamed AANT Centre following a 10-year naming right deal with the Automobile Association of the Northern Territory.
Originally named the Darwin Performing Arts Centre when in was built in the 1980s, the venue was later rebranded as the Darwin Entertainment Centre.
Advising of the sponsorship, AANT Centre Chief Executive, Georgia Hendy stated "the AANT Centre is more than a name - it symbolises our joint commitment to enriching the Territory’s cultural lifestyle.
“This partnership helps ensure our long-term sustainability, while enabling us to continue delivering vibrant, inclusive and high-quality live performance experiences.”
AANT Chief Executive Simon Matthias said the partnership would help the venue grow, adding “AANT is proud to support a space that brings people together, sparks creativity and builds social connection.
“Just like the Centre, we’ve been part of the Territory’s story for decades - and we’re excited to now help shape its future. We see this as an investment in community, culture, and connection.”
