CrossFit returns to NZ Fitness and Health Expo

The organisers of the NZ Fitness & Health Expo have announced that CrossFit will return to the event in 2018.

Exhibition Sales Manager Jono Ridler explains “the hugely popular functional training fitness revolution is still a drawcard for visitors and those attending the 2017 Expo are keen to see a return after last year’s hiatus.

“We’re excited to be working with NZ equipment supplier XtremeFit to showcase the functional training programme but in a different format to how it has been showcased in the past … this time it (will be) a teams competition.”

Xtreme Fitness Director Verdine Smith adds “we’re thrilled to be involved in CrossFit being showcased at the Expo again with the XtremeFit Affiliate Teams Series. This event caters to the ‘everyday’ CrossFit participant from official CrossFit affiliates across NZ who can compete as a team in a regional qualifying round to earn a place in the finals at NZ’s largest fitness and health event”.

The NZ Fitness & Health Expo is New Zealand’s largest showcase of health and fitness products and services for consumers and industry professionals.

Last year it attracted more than 9,000 visitors and 130 exhibitors over its two days.

The 2018 event is being held again at ASB Showgrounds in Auckland on 27th and 28th October.
