Brand relaunch marks new era for Swim Australia
Swim Australia - the learn-to-swim experts and national swim school authority - has re-positioned its branding, launching a new-look logo and emphasising its mission for Australians to be safer, smarter and stronger in the water.
At a launch event at Sydney’s Andrew (Boy) Charlton Aquatic Centre, Swim Australia revealed it’s revamped image showcasing a fluidly bold logo, vibrant brand colour palate, as well as powerful key and sub-brand messages.
Introducing the rebranding, Swim Australia Chief Executive Ross Gage explained “while our mission and our vision has remained strong, our practices have evolved (and) it is time for us to acknowledge our growth, and prepare for our truly exciting future.
“Not only are we passionate about reducing drowning deaths, but it’s our direct aim to also achieve ‘world’s best practice’ in everything we do.
“Ultimately, we want to ensure Australians become a safer, smarter, stronger nation of swimmers; and our brand, including our logo, is a direct reflection of this drive.”
The planning of this monumental accomplishment, took in excess of nine months, with input and guidance from a select group of swim school owners and operators, as well as the primary appointment of notable brand and re-positioning experts, Nutshell and WiteKite.
Gage added “without Nutshell’s Bryce Ott, and WiteKite’s Sophie Klaas and Gerson Guzman, we wouldn’t have been able to achieve such clarity in our brand, image and messaging.”
Swim Australia are the learn-to-swim experts and the leading parent body for swim schools.
Launched in 1997 by the Australian Swimming Coaches and Teachers Association (ASCTA), Swim Australia now boasts the country’s largest network of registered swim schools of around 600 nationwide. Each year these swim schools conduct around 20 million lessons to approximately 600,000 swimming families.
