Swim Australia awards top swim schools
The best of Swim Australia's 600 registered swim schools have been recognised by awards presented at the recent 15th Annual Swim Australia Dinner, held on the Gold Coast.
Swim Australia Chief Executive Ross Gage explained "the awards dinner provided the perfect opportunity for Swim Australia Swim Schools to showcase their industry excellence, over the past 12 months across a range of diverse categories."
Hosted by Swim Australia Media Manager and former swimmer, Jasmin Forsyth (nee Geisel), the 170 guests were treated to special appearances by Olympic gold medallists, and world record holders, Libby Trickett (nee Lenton) and Jodie Notting (nee Henry).
Gage adds "while these awards only singled out a small number of our registered swim schools, the reality is, we're proud to say each and every one of our swim schools helps to save lives every day, and ensure kids are SAFER when in and around water."
