Life Fitness Australia marks 20 years of success and sustainability

September 2017 marks a significant milestone for pioneering fitness equipment supplier, Life Fitness Australia, as the company celebrates its 20th anniversary in Australia.

In 1997, Life Fitness Australia became the exclusive Australian distributor for Life Fitness and Hammer Strength products. Starting out with just 10 employees, today Life Fitness Australia boasts more than 100 employees, six of whom have remained with the company from the very beginning.

With offices now located in Victoria, NSW, Queensland, Western Australia and South Australia, Life Fitness receives more than 380 shipping containers each year, and has impacted the industry with products and services that inspire transformational workouts.

Life Fitness Australia is proud to be more than just a typical supplier of fitness equipment having achieved an impressive track record of impacting the industry and setting the bar for others.

One example of this is how, over the years, the company has garnered a reputation for its sustainability efforts by introducing treadmills that costs around 44% less to power, than treadmills from any of its top three competitors.

Furthermore, its efforts to operate as an environmentally conscious company includes recycling programs for materials used in the offices, as well as pallets, blankets, cardboard, packaging and metals from its factories.

Life Fitness also has a full reconditioning facility and has sold more than 24,000 reconditioned units throughout Australia, from across the Hammer Strength and Life Fitness brands. 

Life Fitness also offers the industry’s largest portfolio of equipment and product support infrastructure among any Australian commercial fitness equipment supplier.

Life Fitness Australia also  pursues philanthropic activities, making continued contributions to Tanzania's School of St Jude, providing education to children in and around the city of Arusha.
