ASM Global’s Peter Loxton named on Billboard’s 2024 International Power Players List

Peter Loxton, ASM Global’s Asia Pacific Chief Operating Officer, has been named on Billboard’s 2024 International Power Players List for the second consecutive year.

The prestigious list, which highlights leading entertainment industry executives nominated by their firms and peers, is chosen by Billboard editors from selected industry sectors.

In Australia, ASM Global’s venue portfolio extends across the country from the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, Suncorp Stadium and the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Sydney’s Accor and CommBank stadiums and Qudos Bank Arena, and the RAC Arena and Optus Stadium in Perth.

In 2024, ASM Global has expanded its venue network, particularly in the Middle East region.

Welcoming the acknowledgement, Loxton stated “I am fortunate to work for a company that delivers fantastic live experiences for millions of people, in their favourite genres.

“It is an honour to be recognised again as part of the live event industry internationally and to be working on new opportunities from my hometown of Brisbane ahead of the 2032 Olympics, to the new entertainment frontier of Saudi Arabia.”

Other Australians on the list include Mushroom’s Matt Gudinski and Frontier Touring’s Susan Heymann and Dion Brant.
