ASM Global Asia Pacific makes key business development appointment

Aiming to expand its support in the Asia Pacific and Arabian Gulf region, ASM Global Asia Pacific has announced the appointment of highly respected business events professional Tina Eggers to the newly created role of Deputy Director of Business Development.

Supporting the business development of ASM Global (APAC) venues and the growth of its operations in the Asia Pacific and Gulf region, the appointment aims to ensure ASM Global venues are the first choice to host the world’s most prestigious events.

With more than 25 years’ experience in the business events sector in Australia and internationally, Eggers is described as having a proven track record of building key client relationships and initiating business events strategies.

Commenting on her appointment, Eggers stated “I look forward to working with the passionate teams in the Asia Pacific and Middle East, to elevate our clients’ success and drive excellent results for the group.”

In her new role, Eggers will support ASM Global Group Director of Marketing, Beverley Parker who welcomed her and congratulated her on her well-deserved appointment.

Parker noted “Tina joins the ASM Global APAC team bringing with her a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the Business Events sector having worked across all markets including during her tenure securing international conferences for Business Events Sydney and her role at ICC Sydney International Convention Centre as Senior Manager Business Development - National.”
