Anytime Fitness marks opening of 25th Indonesian club

Expanding in the nation’s booming exercise market, Anytime Fitness has announced the opening of its 25th club in Indonesia.

Located at the bustling QBig BSD City in Tangerang, West Java, the expansion of the franchise by regional Inspire Brands Asia - which holds the Anytime Fitness Master Franchisee license in Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Macau - sees the brand now operating over 360 clubs across Southeast Asia.

Commenting on the opening, Johannes Raadsma, Chief Executive of Anytime Fitness Asia and President and co-founder of Inspire Brands Asia, advised “we are incredibly proud to have reached this milestone of 25 clubs in Indonesia.

"It speaks volumes about the trust and support we received from our thousands of members and the communities which we currently serve. We are excited to continue expanding our footprint across this passionate market and empower more and more individuals on their personal fitness journey."

Covering a sprawling space of nearly 500 metres², the Anytime Fitness QBig BSD City branch features premium equipment and free weights from such recognised global brands as Matrix Fitness, Ziva and Evolt, personalised coaching and free unlimited group classes for its members.

Members can automatically access any other Anytime Fitness across the world from day one with Anytime Fitness' purple keyfob.

At the opening celebration, themed ‘Sparkling Silver’, at which many guests adorned themselves in silver attire, was also attended by Executive Vice President Sander Van Den Born and Vice President Taka Suzuki from Self Esteem Brands International along with regional agent James Shanahan and franchisees Steve Ankers and Matthew Parry.
