Anytime Fitness marks 16 years of Australian operations

Leading exercise brand Anytime Fitness has this week marked 16 years since its Master Franchise agreement was signed for Australia.

On social media the group highlighted their growth from humble beginnings in Gunnedah, and noted some of their significant achievements during their expansion:

  • Raised over $1.1 million through our annual 'Tread As One' challenge, supporting suicide prevention with R U OK?

  • Surpassed 650,000 members, fostering an incredible community

  • Honoured as 'Best Fitness Franchise' at the Global Franchise Awards for 2 consecutive years running

  • Established 560 clubs nationwide

  • Introduced the Smart Coaching Dashboard and Digital Access through our new AF APP.

To enhance its members' experience in clubs across Australia, Anytime Fitness launched AF SmartCoaching technology and AF App in January 2024.

AF SmartCoaching provides Anytime Fitness members with personalised coaching that can now be accessed via the app anytime, anywhere. The app also features the ability for members to upgrade to the AF Access Pass and enjoy the convenience of opening the door to clubs around Australia with their smartphone.

The tech rollout is part of the brand’s continuous strategy to provide members with Anytime Fitness access and coaching both inside and outside a club to ultimately improve their personal health.

Adding to their post celebrating 16 years, Anytime Fitness shared “these accomplishments represent only a glimpse of our journey. Each incredible milestone is a testament to our dedicated club owners, passionate teams, and amazing members. Thank you for your unwavering support.”
