ALFA Queensland launches inaugural industry awards
The Queensland branch of the Australian Leisure Facilities Association (ALFAQ) has announced the launch of an awards program that aims to recognise excellence among members.
To be presented during the ALFAQ Information Session, at the Aquafutures conference on Wednesday 23rd August 2017, there are to be two types of awards:
1. Facility of the Year - sponsored by Jonas Leisure. This award recognises aquatic facilities that have demonstrated Best Practice in the operation of their business.
2. Award for Excellence - sponsored by Orimatech. This award recognises outstanding levels of achievement by individuals. People can be nominated by colleagues, their employer or even self nominate.
Essential Criteria for the Awards are:
• Nominees must be current members of ALFA Queensland,
• Nomination can be submitted by the nominee, their employer or colleague.
• Contact details of the nominee including name, address and phone number of work place,
• Details of his/her commitment to the aquatic industry over an extended period of time.
Applications are to be supported relevant documentation.
