Dan Kwaczynski takes on ALFA Queensland Presidency
Dan Kwaczynski, Managing Director of Maytronics, has been appointed as the new President of the Australian Leisure Facilities Association (Queensland Branch).
Kwaczynski took on the role at the recent ALFAQ Annual General Meeting, replacing David Speechley who, having been ALFAQ President since its creation, stepped down to enable him to focus on his new role as global President of the International Federation of Swimming Teachers' Associations (IFSTA).
The AGM also saw Craig Tobin, ASCTA Education Manager, re-elected as Treasurer.
ALFAQ thanked and congratulated Speechly for his years of contribution to ALFAQ, with Kwaczynski commenting “it’s an exciting year ahead, David’s left us in a good position, more streamlined, yet capable of continuing to deliver member benefits.”
