Fitness Expo’s ALFA event to explore the future of aquatic and recreation facilities

The Australian Leisure Facilities Association (ALFA) will, for the fifth year, be staging an industry networking event at the Australian Fitness & Health Expo,

To be held on the morning of Friday 29th April, the ALFA Facility Manager’s Networking Breakfast will enable aquatic and recreation managers from across Australia to get together, network and share experiences, while discussing and finding solutions to current industry issues.

The theme for this year’s event is ‘Leisure Facilities of the Future’, looking at the latest, up and coming industry trends and what community leisure facilities need to be doing in order to stay ahead of the competition.

The event will explore the challenges and innovations that are changing the face of the industry and examine how facilities will need to adapt to ensure they continue to provide outstanding aquatic and recreation experiences.

The Networking Breakfast is being held from 8am to 10am on Friday 29th April 2016 at the Crowne Plaza, Melbourne.

In addition, the organisers of the Melbourne Fitness & Health Expo are anticipating our best Melbourne show to date.

Event Director Shaun Krenz explains “we have experienced fantastic support from some of the biggest brands within the industry and are very excited to see some of the amazing custom stands being introduced to the show this year.

“In addition to this it is with most excitement that we announce the Lorna Jane – Active Nation Festival will be happening in conjunction with our event.

“Featuring female fitness influencers from throughout Australia, huge discounts on clothing as well as new ranges being showcased for the first time, Lorna Jane are anticipating up to 10,000 highly engaged and high spending female fitness enthusiasts to attend this event.

“Equally exciting is our talent line-up starting to shape up and already we can confirm that Simeon Panda, Amanda Bisk, Shannan Ponton, Colette McShane and Jaco De Bruyn will be in attendance, all of who are sure to draw the type of crowds that you have come to expect from us.”
