Alexandra Ash named APAC Chair at ActiveXchange
Industry data platform ActiveXchange has announced the appointment of former Gymnastics Australia Chief Executive Alexandra Ash as Chair of its APAC region business.
Advising that the appointment “comes at a really exciting stage in the ActiveXchange journey with the launch of several key national partnerships, and the successful close of a seed funding round which will accelerate our service offering and growth”, a statement from the company states “
Ash’s extensive experience at the YMCA, Western Leisure Services and as CEO of Gymnastics Australia and most recently as President of the Royal Life Saving Society will further align how ActiveXchange works hand in hand with the sector, respecting the individual data journeys and levels of data maturity of each organisation.”
Looking forward to here new role, Ash stated “the opportunity to take on this role and lead the APAC region for ActiveXchange is irresistible.
“With the ongoing need for greater data and consumer insights to drive decision making, ActiveXchange is at the forefront to amplify opportunities for sport, leisure and recreation industries. I am thrilled to continue to work with Martin, with his guidance as an Ambassador, and to work alongside Alex and the team.”
Ash steps into the role previously held by Martin Sheppard, who has guided ActiveXchange since it’s full launch in 2019.
This has seen ActiveXchange bring together data on millions of members and participants to provide a first-of-its-kind insight service across Australia and New Zealand.
Sheppard, who now steps into an ambassador role in which he will continue to support and guide the organisation, also played an important role to driving ActiveXchange’s expansion into North America and Europe.
