Royal Life Saving announces NSC collaboration
Royal Life Saving Society - Australia has announced its partnership with the National Sports & Physical Activity Convention (NSC) and IAKS 2024.
The collaboration will involve Royal Life Saving facilitating an engaging program stream as part of the overall national conference and convention.
Royal Life Saving’s involvement with NSC will spotlight sustainable and inclusive practices, youth engagement and environmental stewardship, and offer insights into meeting the evolving needs of the national aquatic industry.
A significant emphasis of the stream will be on diversifying both the user base and the workforce within the aquatic and leisure industry, thereby enhancing the sector's appeal and contribution to community well-being.
Martin Sheppard, NSC Chief Executive enthused "we are thrilled to join forces with the Royal Life Saving Society - Australia, pioneers in thought leadership on the social value and impact of aquatic and leisure facilities. They play an integral role in shaping society.”
RJ Houston, the General Manager - Capability & Industry at Royal Life Saving adds "we are honoured to be part of this fantastic event and are poised to deliver an entertaining and thought-provoking program. Our aim is to engage senior leaders in transforming aquatic facilities into hubs that are more accessible, viable, and sustainable.”
The NSC | IAKS 2024 joint convention will offer insights into an evolving, socially-conscious sport, physical activity, aquatic and leisure sector. Interested parties are encouraged to register early, with super early bird registration closing on 22nd December.
