After cancelled 2020 conference NSW Country Pool Managers return to deliver 2021 event

With COVID lockdowns forcing the cancellation of its 2020 conference, the NSW Country Pool Managers are set to stage their 2021 event in the NSW mid north coast town of Forster on Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th May.

In a communication on the 2021 conference, Country Pool Managers spokesman and Mid Coast Council Aquatics Supervisor, John Parish advise “due to last year’s conference being cancelled due to COVID 19 we are all looking forward to this year’s event.”

Introducing the program, Parish advised “the conference will kick off Wednesday morning with registration (and) … John McKenny from Macquatics will start proceedings with Pool chemicals: their safe storage, handling and addition.

“Our guest speaker this year will be Rhiannan Ifflands following her career as the current FINA World High Diving Champion and Red Bull World Series Champion from her grass roots pathway utilising region venues.

“This will be followed by Mark McCarthy, Paramedic and First Responder trainer on Advanced Airways and Pain Management.

“The Trade Display will (be) followed by the tradies and delegates networking afternoon at Forster Golf Club and Forster Bowling Club.

“Thursday will be a full day covering a wide range of topics focusing on some issues which may be experienced at various facilities.”

First staged in Mudgee in 1997, the Country Pool Managers conference has grown each year to attract close to 200 attendees.
