Country Pool Managers announce cancellation of 2020 conference
The organisers of the Country Pool Managers conference have advised that its 2020 conference - due to have been held in the Riverina town of Barooga - has been cancelled
Having moved the date of the conference from its usual time in May to August because of the Coronavirus impact, the organisers have advised “due to the declining situation which is happening in Victoria the 2020 Conference will not proceed in August.
“It is disappointing but we must consider the safety of everyone in such trying times.
“A huge thanks to Tony Tranter (Business Development Manager at Sporties Group) for the work he has done in putting such a great agenda and conference together.”
The organisers advised that they are considering holding the 2021 Conference in Forster.
First staged in Mudgee in 1997, the Country Pool Managers conference has grown each year to attract close to 200 attendees.
