NSW Country Pool Managers head to Cowra

The NSW Country Pool Managers will be staging their 2013 industry conference in Cowra from Wednesday 15th to Friday 17th May.

To be held at the Cowra Services Club, the conference will include a training session on water testing and quality while Neil Shaw. Manager, General Environmental Health at NSW Health will discuss the Public Health Act 2010 and Public Health Regulations 2012.

Other session will see Ron Barnes, Regional Risk Managers for Statewide Mutual and and David Macallister of Royal Life Saving Society NSW will provide information on the

Water Testing Program sponsored by Statewide to train and upskill Environmental Health Officers and pool staff.

The NSW Country Pool Managers first came together in 1996 to provide an affordable conference and 'get together' for country based Pool Managers. Through this forum, all communities large and small could benefit.

Their first conference was held at Mudgee in 1997 and attracted 70 pool and 15 trade delegates. Since then attendences have steadily increased with recent events attracting over 150 managers and 30 trade displays.
