Weightlifting among 11 new sports announced for Australian Masters Games 2025
The Australian Masters Games has announced 11 additional sports to be included in the program for the 2025 Australian Masters Games in Canberra.
The addition of 11 new sports to next year’s lineup, gives participants even more opportunities to compete, connect, and celebrate Australia’s original master’s games.
Here’s what’s new:
Tennis
Indoor Rowing
Archery
Fin Swimming
Powerlifting
Sailing
Shooting (Smallbore Rifle)
Water Polo
Squash
Weightlifting
Baseball
These sports are added to the following sports having been confirmed earlier:
Equestrian
Dragonboat Racing
Beach Volleyball
Indoor Volleyball
Basketball
Rugby Union
Hockey
Lawn Bowls
Softball
Touch Football
Netball
