VMA to stage industry celebration in honour of former President Gareth James

Following the death in November last year of founder member and Past President Gareth James, the Venue Management Association (Asia and Pacific) is staging a special Industry Celebration event to reflect on both his legacy and contribution to the VMA and the industry.

Gareth was both a VMA Past President, inaugural Venue Management School Chair, and one of the architects and driving forces behind the establishment and success of the VMA.

VMA Members and guests are invited to attend the Industry Celebration Lounge at AAMI Park, Melbourne on Thursday 22nd February, 2024

The event is possible through the generosity of Melbourne and Olympic Parks Trust Chief Executive.

Attendance is complimentary for VMA members and guests with a limited number of tickets available.

Attendees are asked to register their attendance in advance and join the VMA in, as the Association says, “to reflect, share stories and remember a great man.”
