Virtuagym’s FitNation to hold free online event debating fitness industry’s future

Virtuagym’s FitNation, the fitness conference that brings together innovators and influencers from across fitness and health through weekly webinars, will be providing a special panel discussion edition on Thursday 18th of February, 12pm EST.

The panel includes industry leaders from Virtuagym, CLMBR, Life Fitness, and Johnson Health Tech (Matrix) who will discuss the short and long-term impact of the emergence of the world’s biggest technology companies within the fitness industry, answering a range of vital questions; from the consequences of big tech for small and medium fitness businesses, to the use of data and the resulting changes in consumer needs and demands.

The event is free to register for and will be headed by the following guest speakers:

• Hugo Braam - co-founder and Chief Executive, Virtuagym
• Avrum Elmakis - Chief Executive, CLMBR
• Stefan Wild - Digital Experience Manager at Life Fitness
• Andrew Kolman - Senior Director of Technology & Business Development at Matrix (Johnson Health Tech)

Kalen Pino, Director at Virtuagym and FitNation host, stated “FitNation was created to educate, support and inspire gym owners, personal trainers and all fitness entrepreneurs in an industry that has been digitally transformed in the past year.

“We are therefore extremely excited to welcome four industry leaders who understand and embody the innovation that is already playing a vital role in driving the industry forward.”

In these turbulent times, FitNation’s goal to educate people on the latest news and updates, while delivering insights from fitness entrepreneurs and influencers has never been more important. Last year saw the second instalment of FitNation’s annual global event, which was live streamed from the company's Amsterdam HQ to a thousand viewers worldwide.
