Matrix Fitness releases upgraded Asset Management System

Leading fitness equipment supplier Matrix Fitness has upgraded its innovative Asset Management system with enhanced flexibility, expanded reporting capabilities and automated notifications that make it easier than ever for fitness facilities to keep all of their equipment in top condition.

Provided automatically and at no cost to customers already using the Asset Management system the upgrade brings new capabilities:

Service Request Notifications - The system automatically emails facility staff and Matrix Customer Service when managers request service on both internet-connected and non-connected equipment.
Equipment Offline Notifications - Asset Management will automatically email facility managers and Matrix Customer Service if equipment has been offline for more than 96 hours.
Usage vs. Capacity Reporting - Detailed data on member usage patterns will help facility managers identify the optimal product mix for their fitness centre.
Expanded Filtering - Customers can identify the data they care about most and save it for future reference.
Severity Alerts - In the event of an equipment error, a severity classification helps customers understand the impact on their members and equipment investment.
Mobile Responsive - Managers and staff have access to the full system on any internet-connected device.

Commenting on the upgrade, Matrix Fitness Digital Product Manager Matt McConley stated “whether a person manages one fitness facility or several, they want to focus on their members, not their machines.

“That’s why it was essential for our upgraded Asset Management system to be fast, responsive, easy for anyone to use and able to meet each user’s unique needs. We’ve improved every aspect of the system to streamline the service process and maximise equipment uptime, so facility managers can spend their time doing the things that drive their business forward.”

Improved features:

Equipment Error/Maintenance Notifications - Asset Management sends an automatic email to facility staff and Matrix Customer Service in the event of an equipment error or when maintenance is due.
Usage Pattern Reports - Pre-programmed reports help facility managers understand equipment usage patterns throughout the day so they can rearrange to extend equipment life and time between maintenance appointments.
Information Access - Product information is easy to find, complete with exploded diagrams to help facility managers understand how equipment fits together.
Intuitive Identification - The interface itself has been improved with colour-coded status indicators, equipment naming, facility mapping and more for at-a-glance information.
Brand Building - Applicable consoles can be customised to include the facility’s brand, logo and calendar.
