VenuesWest seeking casual staff to work at its sport and entertainment venues
VenuesWest, owner and manager of 13 Western Australian sport and entertainment venues on behalf of the State Government, is currently seeking staff for employment opportunities across many of its venues, including HBF Stadium in the Mount Claremont precinct and HBF Arena in Joondalup.
The industry shortage has opened opportunities for casual staff across a range of sectors, including aquatics and swim school, café and events hospitality, health and fitness, and programs for children.
With a wide range of jobs and career pathways available, casual work at VenuesWest can provide opportunities for future full-time employment in the sport, entertainment and recreation industries.
VenuesWest offers incentives for those working in their catering and events team such as gym membership, meals on event nights and Responsible Service of Alcohol fees covered.
No experience is necessary, as VenuesWest provides full training for candidates with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
For students currently completing their tertiary studies, casual work at VenuesWest also offers the flexibility to work across weekdays and weekends.
VenuesWest owned RAC Arena and Optus Stadium are also recruiting, with staff able to work at multiple venues.
Western Australian Sport and Recreation Minister David Templeman notes "If you are looking for a casual position in an exciting industry, then check out the recruitment drives currently happening on the VenuesWest website.
"I encourage all Western Australians looking for employment opportunities to take advantage of some of the incentives being offered by the team at VenuesWest.
"Jobs remain a priority as WA's strong economic recovery continues to go from strength to strength, and I encourage anyone looking for casual employment to be part of the action."
