Timezone Charlestown entertainment venue set for renovation

Timezone Charlestown entertainment venue has closed for renovation and will re-open in time for September school holidays. The upgrade is part of The Entertainment and Education Group’s (TEEG) focus on reaffirming the Timezone, Zone Bowling and Kingpin brands as world-class family entertainment centres.

Kane Fong, General Manager of Timezone and Zone Bowling Australia advises: “Timezone has a rich and storied history in Australia. We all have a Timezone memory, be it a memorable first date, a moment shared with your Dad or simply many happy days with friends.

“The Timezone Charlestown refresh confirms our commitment to providing our loyal guests with magical family experiences. Timezone is a space that encourages bonding, creating memories and sharing moments."

Following on from other successfully relaunched venues such as Timezone Haymarket, the Charlestown upgrade will focus on creating a modern, inviting venue featuring the creative use of lighting, colour and a range of textured finishes. Guests can have fun on the venue’s already extensive range of the latest arcade games and entertainment experiences in a roomier space that will be easier to navigate.

New additions include crowd favourites Pump It Up Prime TX, Daytona Champ USA, Mario Kart Arcade GP and Crossy Road.

The new Timezone prize shop will be stocked with an extensive collection of high-quality unique and branded items (including Pop Vinyls and Marvel and DC statues), with players able to swap their Powertickets for a suitable reward. Guests will also be able to use their old Timezone Powercard to play in the new venue.

Timezone Charlestown will offer a new party room: an inviting, versatile space for hosting children’s birthday parties, family gatherings or even team building sessions.

Adam Porter, Timezone Charlestown Venue Manager adds: “The new Timezone Charlestown will cater for all ages; young families, teenagers and adults alike. It will be a multifaceted venue with a great, fun-filled atmosphere – we’re excited to share the experience with our guests.”

Timezone Charlestown will re-open in time for the spring school holidays.
