The Entertainment and Education Group implements Embed throughout 50 new locations

Singapore-based The Entertainment and Education Group (TEEG) has announced that it is to implement Embed's state-of-the-art debit card and revenue management solution in 50 new family entertainment centre (FEC) locations.

TEEG, which owns over 280 FECs across seven countries across the Asia Pacific Region, was created late last year, with leading private equity firm Quadrant backing family entertainment centre operator the Timezone Group

Its recent acquisition of Ardent Leisure’s Bowling and Entertainment division comprising AMF Bowling, Kingpin and Playtime brands, saw TEEG seek a centralized technology solution.

Set to roll out the Embed technology to the new locations to allow for greater efficiency, the system will allow TEEG to offer customers a seamless experience enabling access to all brands with one card.

TEEG Chief Innovation Officer, John Boyd advised "we are looking forward to one common system which will allow us to gain internal efficiencies and effectively utilise the valuable data Embed provides to improve the customer experience."

Luke McKimmie, Embed's Chief Operating Officer commented "this is an exciting direction for both TEEG and Embed. The alignment between each group is perfectly timed for Embed to introduce its latest technologies of our universal games database and centralised games management, along with the Toolkit infrastructure we are deploying.

"This is a great opportunity to illustrate the advantages of using Embed over a large estate and a privilege to work closely with the TEEG team to leverage these solutions and develop ongoing value for their customers.”

The FEC industry is currently undergoing a phase of change in which technology solutions must meet best practices and customer expectations. With technology increasingly important to running a successful FEC, Embed's centralised system offers streamlined processes and easier ways for customers to purchase and play.
