New central Wellington FEC offers New Zealand’s first Timezone redemption shop
Offering New Zealand’s first Timezone redemption shop, the newly opened Timezone family entertainment centre in Courtenay Place Wellington is providing gamers with a modern, enhanced shopping experience for redeeming those their tickets for a great variety of prizes.
With the FEC offering a variety of modern redemption and simulator games, with a mix suitable for all ages, Timezone New Zealand Chief Executive, Gary Walker explains that redemption concepts are popular at other Timezone locations across the globe.
Walker advised “the amount of interest in Timezone’s return to Wellington has been tremendous with our social media interactions reaching into the many thousands.”
The Entertainment and Education Group (TEEG) Chief Executive, Sonaal Chopra added “Timezone in Courtenay Place Wellington is our first ‘New Timezone experience’ venue in New Zealand and we are very encouraged with the feedback received from our guests.
“We will continue to strive to provide all our guests with fun-filled memorable moments.”
Timezone was last seen in Wellington back in 2010 and the new Timezone Courtenay, which opened on 1st October, employs six to 10 new team members, each excited in joining the international Timezone team.
Timezone Courtenay’s new home is in the historic 60 Courtenay Place, the site of the former Wellington Gas Company, a late-Victorian building designed by prominent architect Thomas Turnbull in the late 1800s.
