New Timezone FEC opens on The Strand in Coolangatta
Australia’s newest Timezone has opened at the Strand Shopping Centre at Coolangatta, offering an all new family entertainment destination for the southern Gold Coast.
Opened with a ‘carnivale’ themed parade through Coolangatta, the new FEC offers guests more than 3,000 metre² of fun with over 200 of the latest and most popular games and attractions to play, which are continuously updated with new and exciting titles, including the classic favourites - dodgem cars and laser skirmish.
Timezone Gold Coast Operations Manager Jamin Jacub, who has been overseen the construction with owner Juan Uribe, commented “we have put a lot of effort into the building of this newest Timezone at Coolangatta to ensure that we support the local community.
"Our choice of Coolangatta is based around what we feel is needed in the area, and our new family entertainment centre is certainly able to meet that need.
“The Timezone Coolangatta centre will complement our already highly successful Surfers Paradise location, as well as providing additional jobs on the Southern Gold Coast"
It is expected that the new Timezone, which is situated on Level 1 at The Strand Shopping Centre, will entice locals and visitors looking for family-friendly fun in the Gold Coast’s most southerly suburbs, as it joins BCC Cinemas on Level 2 to complement The Strand’s entertainment offering.
