Australian and New Zealand attractions honoured as industry’s best and brightest
Australian and New Zealand attractions including Rainbow’s End, Auckland; Sea World; TimeZone Surfers Paradise and operator Village Roadshow Theme Parks have been recognised at the Brass Ring Awards presented by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA).
Awards included TimeZone Surfers Paradise being recognised as the top international Family Entertainment Centre (FEC) in the World.
In addition to three Brass Ring Awards presented to Luna Park Sydney (reported yesterday at Luna Park Sydney wins again at IAAPA Brass Ring Awards), Australasian attractions were hounoured in the following categories:
• Top FEC of the World (International): TimeZone Surfers Paradise,
• Games and Retail Excellence - Soft Goods (more than 1 million attendance): 'Bear Hug Kids Hoodie', Sea World
• Human Resources Excellence - Best Innovation in a Training Program (more than 1 million attendance): Rainbow’s End, Auckland
• Marketing Excellence - Digital Marketing Campaign: Village Roadshow Theme Parks Gold Coast.
Access control company Accesso has also been awarded the 2014 Best New Product Award under the category of Revenue & Admission Control/ Wristband/ RFID Technology by IAAPA.
