Ticketek WINS Wollongong ticketing Contract
Ticketek has won a new five year contract to provide ticketing services to the WIN Sports & Entertainment Centres in Wollongong.
The contract includes providing ticketing services for the multi-purpose WIN Entertainment Centre and the adjacent WIN Stadium.
General Manager of the WIN Sports & Entertainment Centres, Stuart Barnes, says âTicketek won the five year contract after a rigorous tender process in which they clearly demonstrated their ability to deliver on a number of key performance indicators.
"We are delighted that we can continue our association with Ticketek, which has been in place since the WEC opened in 1998."
The five year deal will start in the new financial year and includes an upgrade and integration of patron entry equipment at both venues, as well as Ticketek offering the WSEC increased assistance in an extensive ticket distribution network and in venue and event marketing and business development
The WIN Entertainment Centre hosts major International and National touring acts as well as family shows and elite indoor sports as well as providing the Illawarra region with a venue to host community events.
WIN Stadium is the home ground of the St. George Illawarra Dragons who play in the National Rugby League. WIN Stadium has also hosted matches for Rugby Union and League World Cups, Touch Football, Crusty Demons, Supercross, football and community events.
