Improved access and security at Brisbane Entertainment Centre

Gunnebo Australia has completed the installation of new laser barcode scanning turnstiles linked to Gatelink admission control system software at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre (BEC).

With the capacity to seat up to 14,500 guests, the BEC, Queensland's premier entertainment facility, will be hosting a number of events throughout 2012 including Disney on Ice and the WWE Raw World Tour as well as performances from Pitbull, the Beach Boys and George Michael. Most recently, Lady Gaga performed at the venue on the 13th, 14th and 16th of June 2012.

Due to the success of Gunnebo's turnstile solution with Gatelink software in entertainment centres and stadiums across Australia and New Zealand, Gunnebo Australia was chosen to supply the first admission control system to be installed at Brisbane Entertainment Centre since it opened in 1986.

The completion of this project reinforces Gunnebo Australia's position as a leading provider of efficient and reliable entrance control equipment in Australia and New Zealand. In addition to providing turnstile solutions to a number of major stadiums and event venues, Gunnebo has also installed equipment in over 100 aquatic and recreation centres.
